SV	Even alzo geschiedde hem, want het volk vertrad hem in de poort, dat hij stierf.
WLC	וַיְהִי־לֹ֖ו כֵּ֑ן וַיִּרְמְס֨וּ אֹתֹ֥ו הָעָ֛ם בַּשַּׁ֖עַר וַיָּמֹֽת׃ ס
Trans.	wayəhî-lwō kēn wayyirəməsû ’ōṯwō hā‘ām bašš^a‘ar wayyāmōṯ:

AC	כ ויהי לו כן וירמסו אתו העם בשער וימת {ס}
ASV	it came to pass even so unto him; for the people trod upon him in the gate, and he died.
BE	And such was his fate; for he was crushed to death under the feet of the people, in the doorway into the town.
Darby	And so it happened to him; and the people trampled upon him in the gate, and he died.
ELB05	Und es geschah ihm also: das Volk zertrat ihn im Tore, und er starb.
LSG	C'est en effet ce qui lui arriva: il fut écrasé à la porte par le peuple, et il mourut.
Sch	Also erging es ihm jetzt; denn das Volk zertrat ihn im Tore, so daß er starb.
